Winter Placemat

Create a winter placemat using a large foam sheet as a base (for easily wiping clean) and have your child create a scene with designs such as snowflakes, snowmen, and anything else that denotes the season, using different colored foam sheets. Help with cutting out shapes (some craft stores have pre-cut shapes), and then have your toddler glue them in place using a glue stick. For younger toddlers, use the stick-on foam shapes by simply pulling of the adhesive back. Add some sparkle with glitter glue.

* This can easily be done for any holiday or season!
