Food Harvest Drive

Have your toddler help you to conduct a food harvest drive. With the support of friends, neighbors, or care givers, initiate a food drive over a few weeks. Each week can feature a different food staple: canned vegetables, pasta, beans, peanut butter, dinner mixes, juice, etc. (If possible, call your local food bank and ask what is most needed.) You and your toddler can design a very simple flyer that your child can help apss out to participants in your neighborhood. Have your child accompany you when you deliver the food to the food bank if they do not offer a pickup service.
