Santa Hat

Materials:
* red construction paper
* scissors
* white cotton balls
* glue
* glitter
* stapler
* tape

Cut a red strip to fit around a child's head and tape or staple it closed. Next cut out a hate shape (using a basic triangle shape works best). Write your child's name in glue on the front center of the hat, and let your child sprinkle glitter on the glue to create a sparkly name. When dry, tape or staple the "hat" part to the front of the red strip, creating a basic Santa hat design. Now it's time to decorate with cotton balls. Use glue dabs and let your toddler place cotton balls on the base section of the hat and then do the same in a circle design at the triangle's point to create a white "ball" at the top of the hat.
