Flashlight Stroll

Take an unhurried evening stroll around the neighborhood with flashlights and marvel at the sights and sounds of the night. Bring a bug catcher or jar to temporarily collect any interesting insects. Take time to let your child look at how bugs are attracted to street lights and be sure to explain to your child why. Listen to sounds of dogs, cars, crickets, and other sounds of the night. Let kids explore!
