I Did It! Board

Find a place in the house where you can create a weekly "I Did It!" board. Children learn so many amazing things every single week, and it is nice to be recognized for them. Each Sunday write the week's date (e.g., "August 1-7") and your child's name on the board. List any new accomplishments as they occur during the week. At the end of the week, discuss the things learned, offer praise, and start a new week. Consider keeping a scrapbook of past weeks that can be reviewed at the end of the year.
