Cut 10 identical sized hearts out of plain white paper (5 inch by 4 inch size works well). Then cut two identical heart shapes using white or red construction paper. Stack the plain white paper hearts, and then place on colored heart on top of the stack and on on the bottom; staple them all together in a corner to create a small book. Have your child think of 10 things he loves and on each page draw a picture or find a sticker that conveys that message. This same idea can be used for a Valentine's Day gift, with the child expressing 10 things he likes about a person such as a teacher, friend, parent, grandparent, caregiver, etc. Attach a small candy or treat to the front to complete!Activity from: The Playskool Toddler's Busy Play Book by Robin McClure (2007)
