Turkey Handprint Cookies

Trace your child's handprint on a piece of paper. Use that paper as a pattern to cut handprint-shaped cookies out of a batch of cookie dough. Bake as directed and cool. Have your child decorate the cookie like a turkey by turning the fingers into tail feathers and the thumb into the neck and head. Use an M&M or chocolate chip for the eye, a small piece of licorice or candy string to make a mouth, and use sprinkles or colored icing for the rest of the feathers.
